Kouki stopped writing his sums on the white for a brief moment. He was shocked. Someone had hidden a note, a kiss note, of all things, on the extra credit white board. And he, he of all people, had found it. He was sweating, he'd never kissed a girl before. He couldn't even begin to imagine what it was like. But, he knew who'd left it. And he also knew where in the classroom she was. There wasn't much you could do at the board. You could finish your sums, ask for help once, or leave them for someone else to finish. If you left, you got points taken off your next test though. He didn't want that, sand he hadn't asked for help yet. He looked over his shoulder to spy on the teacher. She was buried in papers. Good, thought Kouki.
He finished his sum he was working on, then confidently set down the marker. He placed his right hand on his chin as if he were thinking for a moment. He tried not to blush, it was hard. He turned around, his teacher looked up, then looked back down to her tests. Well, that is your own fault for giving us so much homework, he sneered in a thought. Then he started walking towards his target. Even though he was the skinny math nerd who wore square glasses, he felt like a stunning, confident shojo character. Even though regrettably, he was an admitted dork, and he'd admitted such to his fellow seventh graders, but right now, for one brief moment, he was not.
It faded for a moment when he saw the girl next to his lady with a hand phone. Recording his every move. He didn't stop though. He kept a confident look on his face as if nothing were there. Then she Noticed him walking towards her! A grimace was on her face as she realized who it was. Oh no, not him! He could imagine her thinking. But it was too late, she knew she couldn't resist, he had deciphered her threat and here he was, ready to take his prize!
Her other friend on the next row over was doing her homework as he leaned over, she glanced over shook her head thinking he wouldn't do it. His target hugged herself and leaned to her left, but it was too late, he was there. Her friend was still filming, why he didn't know, or cared. She closed her eyes and turned her head to the left as well. But, she also turned it up a little. Knowing she had been defeated? He asked himself as he slid his glasses back up a little after they'd slipped from the sweat. Well,he thought, leaning in for the kiss, here goes.
It felt like all time had slowed as his unholy lips touched her lovely face. As he took them off, her friend across the row dropped her calculator on the floor in shock. He straightened back up.
"Thanks for you help," he said.
"Your welcome," she responded quietly and nervously. He glanced over at the teacher as he turned around, good, still buried in tests. He walked up to the white board to finish his sums. As he did, he thought he'd heard quiet giggling behind him. When he was done, he walked to his seat in the opposite corner of the class. His target's friend who had filmed the thing? Whispered in the girls's ear.
"This is too good! This is going on the internet!" She said with a giggle. His target rolled her eyes, thinking nothing would ever come to it, and went back to her homework.
About: so I noticed the kiss note gif going around on tumblr and I was in a manga drawing mood. However, my thoughts turned to creating a comic around it and the idea blew up. So, rather then losing the idea, I thought I'd try to put the gif in words ad if it were a manga script turned short story. Emphasis on the word short. I could go on and on, but I'll leave it right here. Hope you enjoyed!
